Subscription and use
Terms of use
Last updated: October 20, 2026
KJV Scroll Bible is provided by Tim Jossund. These terms describe the iPhone app's subscription and services.
App license
Your use of the iPhone app is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). These subscription details supplement that agreement and do not limit rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Whole-app annual access
Active access is required for the whole app, including Scripture reading and study tools. The annual subscription is US$9.99 in the United States. Apple displays the applicable local price, currency, and terms before you confirm a purchase.
The app is free to download. It offers eligible new subscribers a seven-day free trial, followed by the annual subscription charge unless canceled. Apple determines trial eligibility; previous subscribers may not qualify. Your purchase confirmation shows whether the trial applies.
Billing and cancellation
Payment is charged to your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically for another year unless you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current subscription period ends to avoid the next charge. Any price changes are handled through Apple's applicable notice and consent process.
Manage or cancel in your device's Settings under your name, then Subscriptions, or open Apple's subscription management page. Deleting the app, contacting support, or requesting data deletion does not cancel billing. Apple controls refund decisions; requests can be made at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Restoring access and using the app offline
Use Restore Purchases in the app while signed into the Apple Account used for the purchase. There is no separate KJV Scroll Bible login. An Apple subscription does not transfer to Google Play.
Bundled Scripture and study features can be used offline through the last verified access expiration. Connect to the internet to verify a renewal or restore access. Online dictionary definitions and online cross-references require internet and depend on their providers being available.
Notes and bookmarks
You retain ownership of the notes you create. Notes and bookmarks are stored on your device. A subscription lapse does not erase them; renewing access on the same installation lets you use those records again.
Deleting the app, clearing its data, or losing the device can lose local study records. There is no cloud study-sync or recovery service. Restore Purchases restores access, not deleted notes or bookmarks. Keep a separate copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Study resources and availability
Study entries and cross-references are reference aids and may contain errors. Third-party materials retain their own licenses and attribution, available in the app's source links. A subscription does not grant ownership of those materials or override their licenses.
Features and online providers may change, and temporary outages can occur. We will respect applicable consumer rights when making material changes to a paid service. The privacy policy explains how data is handled.
